The Humanities and Sciences Department plays a pivotal role in the institute by teaching English, Mathematics, Science Subjects and thus providing a strong foundation for Engineering graduates. Keeping pace with the changing global challenge and needs, emphasis is on language & communication skills, personality development. Considered to be one of the best departments in terms of its strength, experience and work minded attitude. The Department has 28- strong dedicated faculty. The Mathematics faculty sharpens the brains of Technocrats; The English faculty provides them with language and communication skills, moral values and also trains them to become engineers with human values. The sciences faculty, apart from teaching sciences, teaches Environmental Science (ES), a newly introduced subject to provide awareness in Environment, ecology and how to protect our plant. Thus, department offers teaching and training in deferent subjects and also takes up Social Services activities like tree plantations, clean and green, blood donation cams and also helps the institute in organizing functions and cultural activities.
