The Information Technology was started in the year 1998 with an intake of 40
students and it is increased to 60 subsequently.
The department is headed by Prof. P. Chitti Babu, Professor. He
is having more than 9 years of teaching experience. He is the responsible
person for conducting the cultural activities for ever year. the is also a
member of JKC works. Presently, he is looking into CIT ( Certificate
in Information Technology ) Programs sponsored by IIIT, Hyderabad.
The Department has is well qualified and
experienced faculty members. The Department has two computer
labs consisting of 120 terminals with latest configuration
(P-IV). All the labs are LAN Connected Operating on Windows NT,
with facilities available for uninterrupted power supply. The
Dept is accredited by N.B.A.
