Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the
year 1998 with an intake of 60 students, M. Tech course in CAD/CAM.
Was started in 2004.
- The department is headed by N. Siva Rami Reddy
- The department has well qualified and experienced
faculty members.
- The department is endowed with well equipped labs which
meets the standards specified with by the Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University, Anantapur. In addition the
department maintains its own CAD Lab with 2 workstations
and is the first college in Rayalseema affliated to JNTU
maintains a CNC trainer lathe. The department maintains its
own library in addition to the institute central library.
The Dept is accredited by N.B.A., AICTE is pleased to
approve additional in take of 30 (90+30=120) for the Year
2009-2010.
- M.Tech in CAD/CAM has been introduced in the college in
the year 2004 with intake capacity of 18 students. |
