Cultural Committee

OBJECTIVES

The cultural association is formed with the following objectives.

  • To tap and to develop the intrinsic talents of the students.
  • To develop leadership and organizational abilities among the students.
  • To organize major and important functions in the college i.e Annual day, Independence day , Republic day etc.,
  • To organize sponsored competitions.

ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION

  • To conduct various competitions among the students and to award prizes in the Annual day or Cultural day celebrations.
  • To invite eminent speakers to deliver lectures on matters like personality development, Literature and Spiritual to refresh the young minds and to organize music programmes and any other shows.
  • To organize sponsored competitions among various JNTUA affiliated collages taking sponsorship from business organizations/ Banks and sponsors from the town.

FUTURE AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

  • It is proposed to bring out a bi/ tri monthly AITS magazine thus providing an opportunity to the students to bring out their talents in writing, poetry, jokes, painting, and articles on general as well as academic matters and also to highlight the activities of the college.

Annual Report 2022-2023

  • In connection with “Independence Day celebrations 2022”, Singing patriotic songs competition was conducted for the students of AITS, APGCCS, APGCMS, ANCP, CGRDC and RCE on 12.08.2023.
  • The AITS Cultural Association has organized National Level Technical and Cultural Fest “ATM-23 (Annamacharya Talent Meet)” on 3rd & 4th April 2023 in a grand scale. The students from various institutions throughout the state have participated in this fest and got attractive cash prizes.
  • “Sankranthi Sambaraalu” was conducted from 10th January 2023 to 12th January 2023, in view of Sankranthi Festival.
  • In connection with “Republic day celebrations 2023”, Singing patriotic songs and Patriotic poems competition were conducted on 24.01.2023 for the students of AITS.
  • “Annual Sports & Cultural Day Celebrations” was conducted on 4th May 2023, Prizes are distributed to the students in the various competitions.
  • “Annual Day Celebrations” were conducted on 20th May 2023.
  • The below competitions were conducted for the students of UG and PG from 20th April to 01st May 2023, in view of “Cultura1 day” celebrations in the following events.

Annual Report 2021-22:

  • In connection with “Independence Day celebrations 2021”, Singing patriotic songs competition was conducted for the students of AITS, APGCCS, APGCMS, ANCP, CGRDC and RCE on 14.08.2021.
  • The AITS Cultural Association has organized Online National Level Technical and Cultural Fest “ATM-21 (Annamacharya Talent Meet)” on 25th TO 30th September, 2021 in a grand scale. The students from various institutions throughout the state have participated in this fest and got attractive cash prizes.
  • “Sankranthi Sambaraalu” was conducted on January 12th January, 2022 in view of Sankranthi Festival.
  • In connection with “Telugu Basha Dinostavam (National Service Scheme)”, Essay competition on Telugu Basha Dinostavam was conducted for the students of AITS on 21.02.2022.
  • In connection with “Republic day celebrations 2022”, Singing patriotic songs and Patriotic poems competition were conducted on 24.01.2022 for the students of AITS.
  • “Annual Day Celebrations” were conducted on 22nd June 2022.
  • The below competitions were conducted for the students of UG and PG from 28th January to 07th February, 2022 in view of “Cultura1 day” celebrations in the following events.
