About Department

The ECE department was started in the year 1998 with an intake of 40 and it is increased to 180 subsequently. The Department is accredited by NBA. The Department is headed by Dr.Ch.Nagaraju – He is having vast experience of Industry as well as Academics. He presented several papers in International and National Conferences and journals.

The Department has well Qualified & Experienced faculty. The Department is actively involved in conducting Conferences, Symposia’s and Workshops. The Department is having MOU with Industries like Emware Technologies, Hyderabad to improve the students stands and make them industry ready. The Department has well equipped labs, which meet the standards specified by the AICTE & JNTUA Anantapuramu.

The Department started M.Tech program ( Digital Electronics & Communication Systems) in 2004 and during the year 2006 another two M.Tech programs (VLSI System Design and Embedded Systems) were added. The Department is motivated not only by its alumni and philanthropist but also guests from academia & Industry.

To offer educational experiences that makes the students globally competent, socially responsible and bring in answers to ever-ebbing problems in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

To offer high quality premier education in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering and to prepare students for professional career and higher studies. To promote excellence in technical research, collaborative activities and positive contributions to society.

PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5 Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6 The engineer and society:Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
