Membership

All the students and staff of the AITS are eligible for membership and use the services of the library.
The library services primarily to use the Students, Research Scholars, Faculty members and Non-Teaching employees of this institute.
The privilege of borrowing books from the library is restricted to AITS staff and students only.
Over due- date charge will be collected for returning the borrowed books after the due date.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)

OPAC provides the access to the AITS library database.
OPAC allows the users to know the library collection and the status of the library document or development.
OPAC allows the users to search the database by Title, Author, Accession number, ISBN number, Publisher of the Book/document.

Periodical Section: Journals, Magazines, News Papers

Subscribed 100 Print Journals (National-60, International-40), 16 Magazines and 6 varities of News Papers for the benefit of Students, Research Scholars and Staff of the College or Members of the Library.
Current journals are displayed in the new arrivals display rack then sent to journal section.
Back Volumes of the periodicals are displayed in the separate wing for ready reference purpose.

Circulations

Book Borrowing/Circulation policy will help and support to the library users for their academic and teaching learning activities with friendly environment.
Circulation counter is open at 09.00 A.M. and closed on 06.00 P.M. in all working days.
No counter operations on Sundays, 2^nd Saturdays and Public Holidays.
Reference Books, News Papers, Magazines, Journals and Back Volumes should not be taken out.
Project reports and CD/DVD’S are not for lending.
Books will be issued subject to availability.
More than one renewal is not permitted.
Faculty Members : 8 Books
Staff : 2 Books
B.Tech, MCA and MBA Students : 3 Books
M.Tech Students : 4 Books
Research Scholars : 5 Books
If the book due date falls on holiday of the library, the next working day will be taken as the due date.
The borrower is responsible for any loss or non – return of any books issued against his/her original (or) duplicate card.
Over – due date charges will be collected from the students and research scholars the books are not returned by them on due date.
Faculty members are permitted to barrow the books for a semester.
