Annamacharya Engineering college holds a seminar on Social media - Cyber Crime & Cyber Security Solutions

A technical seminar on Cyber Crime and Cyber Security Solutions was held at AITS , Rajampet under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. Dr. Udaya Shankar Puranik, Director, AI & Cyber Security,MGI, USA acted as a keynote speaker and appraised the police personnel of the techniques to identify the cyber crimes and find the culprits out. Speaking on the occasion, The Superintendent of Police of Annamacharya District, Mr. B. Krishna Rao, IPS, stressed the importance of getting acquainted with the new technologies by the police to curb cyber crimes and malicious digital transactions. Dr. Gajendra Desh Pandey, IIT Bombay addressed the Police and explained them about the practical problems faced by police and how they can be overcome. Dr. C. Gangi Reddy, Secretary, AITS said that the management of Annamacharya instructions would be always at the forefront to conduct such activities. Dr. SMV Narayana, Principal, touched upon the significance of AI in curtailing Cyber crimes. Dr. Vivekananda, Retired Professor, IIT Bombay, threw light on cutting edge technologies to be adopted to prevent Cyber crimes. Mr. E. Avinash, highlighted the importance of Stress Management methodologies at harness. Dr. Subba Rao, Dean, Dr. CH. Nagaraju, Head, Department of ECE, Dr. Venkatesh, Assistant Professor, ECE and Dr. Prasad, ECE, co-ordinated the event. Circle and Sub inspectors of police in the morning session and students of AITS in the afternoon session participated in the event.
