Practical training on Robotics and Automation to AITS Students, Rajampet

According to the agreement between Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Autonomous) (AITS) Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation and European Center for Mechatronics Institute – Germany, the FESTO Company, Bangalore has sent a mobile technology demonstration vehicle to AITS on 27th August 2022. This vehicle is equipped with all types of industrial automation equipment. The FESTO company Engineer Mr. Manohar briefed the final year B.Tech Students (EEE, Mechanical, ECE) about various types of automation related devices installed in FESTO company mobile vehicle. In this training, the technology used to run machines by compressed air and the software used in it were explained in detail. These types of machines are used in all MNC manufacturing companies to manufacture quality products at lowest cost. These automation systems allows the industry to manufacture very high quality products with very few employees. He said that due to this training on automation will improve the students employment opportunities in industries. College Vice Chairman Choppa Yella Reddy, Principal Dr. SMV Narayana, Dr. D. Krishna Mohan Raju, Dean-IIC, faculty and students participated in this program.
