Modern-day community Radio Stations serve their listeners by offering a variety of content which is useful and beneficial to the public especially local community. Community Radio Stations broadcast news, information, programs toward the local area, particularly immigrant or minority groups that are poorly served by other major media outlets. More specialized musical programs are also often a feature of many community radio stations. Community stations can be valuable assets for a region. Community radio stations typically avoid content found on commercial outlets, such as Top 40 music, sports, and "drive-time" personalities. A meme used by some in the movement is that community radio should be '10% radio and 90% community'. Community radio stations primarily focus on getting the community talking. Hence the social concerns of community radio are stressed above the actual making of radio.
We invite students and faculty of all Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh to visit (the first Community Radio Station in any Engineering college in Separate Andhra Pradesh). In the One day visit Annamacharya Radio team will provide training on the following topics.
I. Introduction to RF Communication – Talk in Conference Hall

This course addresses the whole spectrum of antenna topics in engineering. You will focus on antenna engineering concepts and practice, encompassing several popular antenna categories, applications, including electromagnetic characteristics ranging from fundamental to cutting-edge. You are going to investigate frequencies ranging from 300 kHz to 550 GHz, with a focus on the medium & high frequencies, very high frequency (VHF), ultra high frequency (UHF), & microwave domains. In addition, learn about communications, commercial, military applications, radar, as well as related subjects including antenna materials radomes, antenna computer modelling, antenna optimization, antenna noise, including antenna measurement techniques.
Engineers, scientists, project planners, engineering students as well as practical antenna technicians will benefit from this training. This course will be useful for those who require how an antenna impacts the functioning of a radar or communications system, the manner in which to choose materials for antenna construction, how to evaluate and develop an antenna's electromagnetic efficiency, and how to measure an antenna's electromagnetic performance. This training will also help people who need to comprehend the facility specifications, time, cost, and skill level needed to produce an antenna.
